I’ve recently converted from another competing software product to RV Inspector Professional after it was recommended to me by a peer whom I respect a great deal. RV Inspector Professional™ is perhaps the most intuitive software that I have seen for inspectors. My previous method of performing inspections was using check sheets and a digital camera.
RV Inspector Professional™ saves me tons of time! I use the check boxes to record my points of inspection and the drop-down lists make everything so easy. The ability to take a photo and have it immediately in the correct location saves me hours of report prep when I get back to the office, no need to import the photos from the camera and then drop them in and format them in my report. RV Inspector Professional™ even lets me annotate and draw on the photos – right on site! I can draw a circle or an arrow in any number of colors. My customers love it!
The best part is that I can email the .pdf RV inspection report to my customer almost immediately after completion of the inspection.
The templates are constantly being revised and updated to meet our needs based on our input. The cost is affordable with a minimal monthly charge for the base App. I could not be happier!

I used RV Inspector Professional™ to inspect a large Class A top-of-the-line motorhome manufactured about 10-12 years ago, which turned out to have a lot of issues. I used an Apple iPad Air 2 tablet to do a successful inspection that produced a professionally detailed PDF report which I emailed to my client.
Remember the dream that all of us RV Inspector trainees had at the beginning: to use a tablet to photograph and take notes on as we performed the inspection? The dream has come true – the RV Inspector Professional™ worked great for those two main tasks.
I had no problems with my inspection plan – I just followed the software as it led me through all the inspection sections just like I used to do previously with the RVIC and then NRVIA Scope Sheets. Changing sections back and forth as needed was easy to do.
RV Inspector Professional™ can be modified by the individual inspector. That means that you can omit sections not used by you or not installed in the RV being inspected by simply not pressing the blue “+ Add” tab. Items not “added” will not show up on the report as empty fields, which I really like.
The RV Inspector Professional™ software will work on iPad, iPhone, and Android tablet or phone. The software has already been updated to the 2.0 version and will continue to be honed and fine-tuned by the creators. I am excited to have it as my chief inspection method from now on.

I used to drive to the RV inspection, spend 5 hours performing the actual RV inspection using the paper checklist I created using Microsoft Publisher along with my digital camera, then return to my home office.
There I would spend another 5 to 6 hours loading pictures from my camera while I typed the data from my printed forms to the digital form on my computer, and merge the pictures to my report. After a combined 15 hours I sent the report to my client by email.
