RV INSPECTION SERVICE
DBRVI performs RV inspections for buyers, sellers, finance companies, banks, credit unions, insurance companies and extended-warranty companies. We inspect all makes and models of recreational vehicles to include Travel Trailers, 5th Wheels, Motorhomes Class A, B or C.
The RV inspection service is performed based on the VIN # of the exact RV as identified in the RV inspection contract. The purchaser of the RV inspection contract must guarantee access to the RV and must provide full hook-up service to the RV, including the following:
Appropriate electrical service (20, 30, 50 AMP)
Stable, dry flat parking surface
Access or keys to all doors including entry door and storage compartments
Preferably sewage hook-up
NOTE: IDEALLY THE RV WILL BE PARKED AT A RV PARK WHERE FULL HOOK-UP FACILITIES ARE INCLUDED WITH A DAILY SITE RENTAL.
Some people involved in the buy or sell transaction of a RV want to ask questions during the inspection process. The inspection process is very involved and extensive and will take on average approximately 5 hours, therefore it is our objective to keep interruptions to a minimum.
We do not disclose our inspection results to anyone verbally, including the purchaser of the inspection contract.
Only the purchaser of the RV inspection contract will receive the completed inspection reports. Don Baker RV Inspections, LLC does not offer copies of any inspection report to any other party for any reason, other than by court order.
Our inspection report is delivered via electronic mail and is available in Adobe Acrobat (PDF format). The inspection contract purchaser is granted an inspection report review period (up to 1 hour) with the actual RV inspector who performed the work to discuss the findings.
If the RV inspection contract purchaser (Motorhome) elects, we will provide a thorough analysis of the condition of the engine motor oil, engine coolant fluid, and transmission fluid for an additional fee. The analysis is conducted by a certified lab in the USA. These reports usually are completed within one week. This data is invaluable in knowing what’s going on inside the engine and transmission of the motorhome.
1 Fluid Analysis = $75 / Oil or Coolant
2 Fluids = $140 / 2 Oil or 2 Coolant or 1 of each
3 Fluids = $205 / For example: Engine and Transmission Oil, + Engine Coolant
4 Fluids = $270 / Covers oils and coolants for main engine, transmission and generator
5 Fluids = $335 / Covers oils and coolants for main engine, transmission and generator
Our fees range from $249.00 to $649.00*
